Why your organization needs a CI-driven strategic planning process (and how to create one)
Competitive intelligence (CI) is an attempt by corporations, as well as not-for-profits, to understand
what is happening in the world and craft a suitable strategy for dealing with the markets, industries, and other organizations they are likely to encounter in the future. Together with business intelligence, market research, strategic planning, and knowledge management organizations can build forward-looking, predictive, action programs designed to support and enable the strategic decision-making process.
