About Val Jensen, Senior Vice President, Strategy and Policy, Exelon Utilities

As Senior Vice President for Strategy and Policy, Mr. Jensen is responsible for formulating and executing the strategic framework and long-term road map for the Exelon Utilities’ technology and business evolution. He leads the development of both operating and revenue models to support the utilities’ platform. Previously, Mr. Jensen served as Senior Vice President for Strategy and senior vice president of Customer Operations at Commonwealth Edison. In those positions he directed development and delivery of the Company’s customer-facing products and services, including the customer contact center, eChannels, metering, billing and ComEd’s $350 million annual portfolio of demand response and energy efficiency programs. He also was responsible for development of ComEd’s utility of the future strategy. Prior to joining ComEd in 2008, Mr. Jensen held a variety of positions with ICF International, the US Department of Energy and the State of Illinois.

Val serves on the boards of the Alliance to Save Energy and the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind, and previously served on the U.S. DOE’s Electricity Advisory Committee. He was a founding board member of the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance. He holds a BA from Hamline University and a MPA from the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
