Mr. Useem has a wealth of experience in local government in North Carolina, Maryland and Virginia.

About Greg Useem

Greg Useem joined the City of Alexandria in 2012 as the City’s first Chief Performance Officer. In his role he has been responsible for measuring and analyzing City services. Key to Greg’s and Alexandria’s success has been using business intelligence tools and analytics practices to better understand and improve the City’s efficiency and effectiveness. Prior to joining the City, Greg served as Director of Budget and Policy for Wake County, NC and in Prince George's County, MD as the Planning and Accountability Officer. Greg is also a regular contributor on data and analysis topics for professional organizations. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Lynchburg College and a Master's in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
