As leader of the Chicago-based board governance and growth advisory firm Meridian Associates Inc., Diane M. Meister has advised chairs and directors of 12 private companies about optimal governance practices. With her Meridian team, she has also assisted leaders of over 50 often-underperforming companies to reimagine their strategic planning, implementation and performance measurement efforts in order to address industry disruption challenges and capitalize on innovative, profitable growth opportunities for their firms.

Diane is also Vice President, Strategy of the Private Directors Association. In addition to overseeing the definition and execution of growth strategy for this rapidly-expanding national membership organization, she chaired the launch of the popular PDA Model Board MeetingSM Program.

Diane holds an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Prior to founding Meridian, she had a progressive 15-year corporate career with two Blue Chip international advertising agencies (Leo Burnett Company and Young & Rubicam Inc.). During these affiliations, Diane initiated pioneering programs that addressed corporate and brand marketing issues as well as business model and product line innovation challenges, in collaboration with executive leadership of 16 Fortune 100 consumer products companies. Frank Jaehnert

Frank Jaehnert was President & CEO of Brady Corporation (NYSE), an international manufacturer of Identification Solutions from 2003 until 2013. Before that he served as its CFO and as a divisional President.

Prior to joining Brady in 1995 he held various financial positions in Germany and the US at Robert Bosch GmbH, a multinational engineering and electronics company.Mr. Jaehnert received the equivalent of an MBA from the University of Stuttgart,Germany.

He serves on the Boards of Nordson (NASDAQ: NDSN), Briggs & Stratton (NYSE:BGG), Itron (NASDAQ: ITRI), National Material L.P., NACD Chicago and the Milwaukee School of Engineering. (MSOE)

He was a regional winner of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year program in 2008, and has served as a regional, national and world judge of the program for many years.
