Brook Rolter is the founder of Rolter Associates, a management and organization development consulting firm in Arlington, VA. He helps executive and management teams with strategy, management, organizational performance, and implementation challenges. Brook has more than 30 years’ experience with private, public and nonprofit organizations focused on implementing strategic changes and improving relevant organizational performance. Using approaches tailored to circumstances of each organization, Brook integrates cross domain expertise with practical designs and strategic facilitation to implement changes that help “manage the business” and improve organizational performance. Brook is certified in Organization Development and Change Management, a certified Balanced Scorecard Master Professional, a licensed Performance Measurement Specialist, and a former National Baldrige Quality Award examiner. He is also a licensed PuMP® Contractor with Stacey Barr Pty Ltd for the PuMP and Evidenced Based Leadership programs and is the only US consultant licensed to provide on-site training services.
Prior to starting his consulting practice Brook managed and delivered consulting services with multi-national consulting services firms. During that time, he developed a methodology and tool set for managing and implementing change that was implemented by two worldwide consulting firms. Organizations Brook has assisted include National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, US Geological Survey, National Counterterrorism Center, NASA Central Intelligence Agency, GSA, ConocoPhillips, National Australia Bank, Halifax Building Society, Office of Director of National Intelligence, US Coast Guard, US Marine Corps, Corporation for National and Community Service, British Aerospace, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Board of Medical Genetics, American College of Medical Genetics, Verizon, ExxonMobil, International Monetary Fund, and Texas State Health Department.
Brook holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, and an MBA from the Andersen School of Business at UCLA. He has taught training courses for the Professional Studies program at George Washington University in Balanced Scorecard and Strategy Management and Organizational Performance Measurement. Brook resides in Arlington, VA, and during his down time, can be found trying to fly fish around DC and the Shenandoah Mountain.
