About this month’s discussion:

Connecting the Dots: Agile Strategy Execution

We have an awesome strategic plan….so why can’t our people just execute it?

Study after study has demonstrated that even well-defined strategies are only understood & executed in organizations between 10-25% of the time.

One barrier has been a lack of a real-time framework and tools for leaders of an organization to view and update their strategic and operational plans, tactics and results.

In this presentation, we will present an Agile Strategy execution framework and tools which can lead to the successful deployment of tactics and projects in an organization. All attendees will be able to complete and assess the Strategy Maturity execution of their organization using a benchmarked assessment model/tool.

The following topics will be covered:

  • Review 4 leading strategy execution methodologies: Hoshin Kanri, OGSM, performance management & OKR (Intel/Google)
  • Discuss 7 obstacles of strategy execution
  • Propose an agile strategy execution framework and tools: incorporating best practices to overcome these obstacles
  • Present and discuss individual and group results from the Strategy Execution Maturity Matrix.
