In this session, we will share lessons learned over three years of strategy execution and culture transformation of a 300 person janitorial company in Richmond BC.
This journey includes:
- Creating an aspirational vision of the leadership team on a beach.
- Introducing new culture and values A system of "Rockstars and Roadies" with team members supporting one another, and freedom for accountability where autonomy was presented s an opportunity to all.
- The transformation of a leadership team, the change of the physical space, and a structure to optimize communication created a new future for the company, which resulted in the best financial results in the company's history.

He is the author of two books, including "Alignment: How to get your people, strategy, and culture on the same page. His company blog hosts over 500,000 people per year, and you can find him presenting and sharing his insights all over the world. Anthony is born and raised in neighboring Vancouver BC, and his company is Proudly from the Pacific North West.

Iain Hunt, chief executive officer of the Richmond, B.C., janitorial firm Cleantech Service Group Ltd, He was hired in 2003 to expand the business. At that point, Cleantech was a small, $1-million company owned by two brothers; the company now boasts a top-line revenue of over $13-million, an office staff of about 25, and a small army of 300 janitorial workers at sites across B.C.
Iain is a passionate leader who values the success of the people around him as much as his own. Iain holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of British Columbia.
